Lexys was started by a group of Vietnamese Americans who met at Drexel University. Vu Le and Dan Nguyen both went to work for Abbott Laboratories after college and Vu's brother, Quan, went to work at Goldman Sachs. Together, the group developed this real time point of sale software and started the firm in 1997.

The company moved around a bit from 1997 when it started to 1999 when it relocated in Lynn. As the company grew, Lexys needed more space. Lexys found that space in its current location on Market Street in Lynn. Located conveniently near the train station, Lexys was impressed by the attractive and affordable space that they found in Lynn. The office has space enough for a ping pong table and even has a shower room if you have a particularly active game!
When you arrive by elevator in the lobby of Lexys Technology Inc., you can't help notice the bicycle parked by the brick wall. The bike's owner comes in by train each day and rides the bike to and from the train station.
